Coal ain't got no country. No worker neither. A worker ain't Virginian, ain't Christian, white, colored, Irish, Polish, nothin'. A worker is a worker, and we all gotta work.

Little Ben, The Coal Miner, is a Campfire Companion for the Traveler.

Little Ben frequently asks for funny stories and is first encounterable outside of Richmond, VA. His story is written by Leigh Alexander, and he is voiced by Jason Liebrecht.

Background[ | ]

Little Ben is a coal miner from the West Virginia area. He had an older brother who was put to work in the mines at 10 years old and presumably died there. Little Ben is on the run from union busters as the horrible treatment from the mining industry led him to push for unionization.

Interactions with the Player[ | ]

Little Ben can originally be found outside of Richmond, VA, and travels around in the Northeast. He mainly asks for funny stories from the Traveler. Upon reaching Chapter 3 with him, he gives you a lump of glittering fool's gold, heavy, beautiful, and worthless, that teleports you to Richmond.

True Form[ | ]

Little Ben's true form is a faceless horde of miners.
